Serving markets in new ways is a real thrill. So when Michael V of BioGX saw the synergy between Markham Bailey’s digital label program and their need for small, custom labeled runs, we were both excited!
I had the privilege of exploring “the book” with students at the Ada Long Creative Writing Workshop, hosted by the University of Alabama at Birmingham English Department and the Honors College. Old books from the thrift store became objects for discovery through color and texture. Students turned their book into an object of expression, albeit far from its original purpose. Strange that inside of one book we discovered a 45 (yep, an old record) of Jimmie Dean, still in the original dust jacket – and it was that very same day that he died! 
I’ve always supported organic – even before it caught on. And I support it now – with trying to supply graphic products that are recycled and recyclable. By actively switching paperwork to digital communication, and by intentionally setting out to create best business practices for an earth steward. I would love to hear from others on your successes in this regard.
